“To protect the youth is a step closer to a brighter future”

Why do we hurt those invulnerable to us?

Children are a gift, they give joy to the joyless, give purpose in life, and most importantly, they signify the next generation, they are the future. Each child’s purpose is limitless, they are hopeful and curious of the journey they face and their entire life is ahead of them. In a way, that’s what makes them so vulnerable, they have not yet faced the harsh reality of the world and because of that they symbolize our society’s future.

So what does that say when we hurt our youth, when we make them face violence we know they can't handle. We are inherently violent creatures but that's what separates our youth from us, they are not like that.

They are precious, we should be the ones protecting them, not the ones causing them harm. So with the national children's month, that is what we all strive to accomplish.
